Android Engineer with minimum 4 years of experience
The candidate will join our team to work on some super awesome products around online dating.
- Will be responsible for designing and developing Android applications from scratch to finish.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to get things done.
- Implement UI elements based on designs provided.
- Continuously look for ways to make our Android apps more efficient and contribute to overall product and architecture discussions.
Desired Skills:
Android Development, JSON, Core Java, Android SDK, SOAP, Web Services, J2ME, XML. The ideal candidate should have:
- Built some great apps on Android. Strong coding skills on Java (Android/J2ME), good knowledge of Web Services, SOAP, JSON.
- Good command over Android SDK
- Has experience with integrating third party libraries and APIs e) Has good understanding of mobile user experience and design.
- Expertise in working with multi-threaded apps.
- Can work independently and solve problems.
- Knowledge of iPhone Development and/or Windows Phone Development a huge Bonus.
- Familiarity with version control systems like GIT.
- Strong grasp on concepts related to Java programming, OOPs, multithreading, JSON decoding, XML parsing, social network integration and third party SDKs, APIs and libraries.
